Market-Fresh Mixology Cocktails for Every Season: Pick It Up and Mix It Up!
Just picked up a new book by Bridget Albert with Mary Barranco called: Market-Fresh Mixology, Cocktails for Every Season. The pictures are beautiful and the concept is amazing and delicious. The book is full of step by step instructions to make impressive, seasonal cocktails. It also has a good basic bar section for general info and set-up.
Everyone is urging us to eat organically and buy our produce locally, with this handy collection of recipes we can embrace all of the wonderful tastes and flavors of the season. The chapters are arranged by seasons and each chapter begins with a list of ingredients that are the season’s best.
Just to tempt you, in the Summer Season chapter, you will find recipes that include a Blueberry Lavender Mojito and a Raspberry French 75. Both cocktail recipes use readily available ingredients and are easy to follow and prepare for the at home mixologist.
Margarita Fridays are on hold until September, but I’m tucking this books and it’s excellent Watermelon Margarita recipe away on my shelf until then.
