This Just In…Watermelon Margarita Recipe

Frozen Watermelon Margarita

(from Food & Wine magazine)

5 cups watermelon cut into one inch cubes with seeds removed

1 cup white tequila

1/2 cup fresh lime juice

1/2 cup sugar

Put watermelon cubes in sealed plastic bag and place in freezer until firm, about 4 hours or overnight. Place frozen watermelon cubes in 6-cup blender with other ingredients. If blender is small size, do two batches. Blend until smooth.

Serves 6

Last Day of School: Wacky Watermelon Margarita Friday

This Friday’s recipe will involve Silver Patron, fresh watermelon, agave, and fresh limes.  Recipe and remarks to follow.  If anyone has any experience in the watermelon margarita department–without watermelon schnapps (we are not going there) please let us know.  We are shooting from the hips on this one :)
